Law Officer

The Bank invites applications from qualified legal professionals for the position of Law Officer, with relevant experience in banking law, litigation, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance. The candidate should possess strong legal acumen, drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage legal matters effectively while safeguarding the Bank's interests.

The eligibility criteria to apply for the above post are as follows:

• Qualification: LL.B. (3-year/5-year course) from a recognized University.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience as a practising Advocate or as a Law Officer in a Bank, Financial Institution, NBFC or reputed organization.
• Age: 40 to 60 years (extendable by up to 2 years in exceptional cases).
• Key Competencies: Sound knowledge of banking laws, SARFAESI Act, Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, NI Act and other relevant laws, with experience in handling litigations, recovery proceedings, legal documentation, drafting and vetting of agreements, providing legal opinions, and handling Industrial Relations (IR) matters.
• Compensation: Negotiable and commensurate with industry standards.
